KRIYA Conference was an annual and international event devoted to the use of ketamine for psychiatric indications and psychological work. It was the gathering place for ketamine clinicians and researchers from around the world to exchange information and ideas. KRIYA Conference was held in the San Francisco Bay Area in the Fall of 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. (Please see the agendas for each year, below). The goal of KRIYA Conference was to advance our collective understanding of the therapeutic properties and potential for ketamine, and related chemicals, which appeared to have rapid-acting anti-depressant and anti-obsessional properties, as well as prominent dissociative and psychedelic properties.
KRIYA Conference was the first event on Planet Earth devoted to ketamine which was publicly announced. It gave rise to several other significant events and publications, including The Ketamine Papers, ASKP3 organization, and the Oxford Ketamine Conference. KRIYA Conference is also noted for contributing to the current interest in using visionary medicines in a safe and legal context for therapeutic purposes.
Raquel Bennett, Psy.D. is the founder of KRIYA Institute and KRIYA Conference. Dr. Bennett is currently on sabbatical while she works on her book about therapeutic ketamine and the spectrum of clinical ketamine services. KRIYA Conference will not gather in 2020, although we are thinking about bringing it back in the future.
We invite you to explore this website, which contains many free resources related to therapeutic ketamine.
