Rain or shine… please come and celebrate the Jewish New Year with J-Crew on Sunday, September 28. Also, each member of J-Crew is welcome to bring a guest (it is not necessary for your guest to be Jewish). Everyone is invited (but not required) to wear white clothes to this gathering. Also bring a jacket!
4:00 PM – Guided Tashlich ritual at Live Oak Park (1301 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley). We will throw pebbles into the creek to symbolize letting go of mistakes and regrets. Meet us at the corner of Shattuck & Berryman at 4:00 PM. After that, look for us in the park next to the creek. This ritual is free of charge.
Around 5:00 PM, we will start walking over to the restaurant. It is an easy 3-block walk, so you won’t need to move your car.
5:15 PM – Dinner or snacks at Crepevine (1600 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley). See full menu.
