Food 2019

Here is the menu for the KRIYA Conference weekend. We have included vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Lunch, snacks and beverages are included in your registration fee; there are no additional costs. (Updated on 10/28/19)

SATURDAY

Coffee & Morning Snack
Assorted Muffins – including gluten-free muffins
Fresh Fruit
Coffee, Decaf Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice

Lunch
Chinese Chop Salad – iceberg lettuce, napa cabbage, mandarin orange, sesame seeds, ginger-sesame dressing
Build-Your-Own Asian Box:
– Noodles and/or Steamed White Rice
– Grilled Chicken and/or Seasoned Tofu
– Steamed Fresh Vegetables
– Sweet & Spicy Sauce and/or Coconut Curry Sauce
– Optional Toppings: Chopped Peanuts, Lime Wedges, Sesame Seeds, Chili Dust
Coconut Tapioca Pudding – topped with fresh mangos and lime juice
Cucumber-Mint Lemonade, Iced Tea

Afternoon Snack
Build-Your-Own Yogurt Parfait – vanilla yogurt, granola (nut-free), fresh berries, chocolate chips
Coffee, Decaf Coffee, Tea

 

SUNDAY

Coffee & Morning Snack
Bagels & Cream Cheese – including gluten-free bagels & dairy-free tofu spread
Fresh Fruit
Coffee, Decaf Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice

Lunch
Quinoa Veggie Salad – quinoa, broccoli florets, bell pepper, lemon vinaigrette
Dolmas – grape leaves stuffed with rice & vegetables
Middle Eastern Eggplant Casserole – roasted eggplant, yellow onions, stewed tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, cinnamon
Build-Your-Own Gyro:
– Fresh Pita Bread
– Marinated Sliced Chicken and/or Hummus
– Tzatziki (Yogurt) Sauce and/or Tahini (Sesame) Sauce
– Optional Toppings: Diced Cucumbers, Vine Tomatoes, Shredded Lettuce, Red Onions, Kalamata Olives, Fresh Lemon, Feta Cheese
Lemon Pound Cake
Cucumber-Mint Lemonade & Iced Tea

Afternoon Snack
Assorted Cheeses
Crackers – including gluten-free crackers
Fresh Grapes & Dried Fruits
Chocolate Bark

DIETARY NEEDS

We do not have access to any kitchen facilities or equipment during the conference weekend, so unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any special dietary needs. Feel free to bring your own foods and snacks, if needed.
